What better way to kick off wedding season than with this classic Italian wedding?? Gianna & Anthony are two of the most amazing, hard-working, and beautiful people you will ever meet. Two years in the making, four reschedules, a venue change, and multiple bridesmaids’ dress switches later, finally they are married!! I first met this beautiful couple when they booked a mini session with me almost three years ago, and I was so lucky to be able to shoot their gorgeous wedding.
Gianna and Anthony are Italian through and through, so of course they had a classic Italian wedding. Big dress, big hair, big family. It was just the best day!
These two did not miss any details. They got ready at their family homes in Joliet and exchanged sweet letters. Gianna wore an incredible Eve of Milady dress from Bella Bianca Bridal and in turn, Anthony got to splurge on some Louboutin loafers. Then, they headed to Old Central Church to have a short but sweet ceremony, and Anthony shed a tear as he saw his stunning bride. After that, we took some beautiful portraits at the Jacob Henry Mansion, and then headed to the party at Venuti’s Italian Restaurant & Banquet Hall.
Beautifully decorated with classic pink and white florals by Prairie Honey Floral Studio , it was a gorgeous reception. The night started with beautiful music from Jerry Armstrong who gave a live performance of some classic Italian songs. The food was amazing, and they had a grand selection of snacks including Dipsy Ice Cream and coffee from Barista Mobile Espresso. They danced the night away thanks to their stellar DJ, After House Music.
Congrats to Mr,. & Mrs. D’Astice, finally!
